Ruth Brockmann's work is inspired by the Myths & Legends of the Pacific Northwest and Myths & Legends from around the world. All works are original, one of a kind pieces and are on Plexi stands that are designed for masks. They can sit or hang on the wall. Brockmann's work is in the Permanent Collection of the Corning Museum of Glass.

Public Commissions Include
1992 Oregon Arts Commission: Portland State Office Building, Portland, Oregon. Two main entry lobby murals, "A Legend of Multnomah Falls" 6'6" x 23' and "The Bridge of the Gods" 6'6" x 26'5. Kiln fused cast glass and cement.
"Magic, Myth and Metamorphosis was the title of the Glass Art Museum Magazine that leads to an understanding of her vision & creations. "In Myth & Ancient Symbolism. there is a tremendous abundance of spiritual energy". I hope this is the basis and focus of my work
